Egoli Projects CC was registered on 12/10/2001 which evolved from Concordia Projects (Pty) Ltd that was founded in June 1983 by Mr Ernst Reinhard Schütte, a German immigrant who came to South Africa in September 1974.
He qualified in Germany as a Master Mason and furthered his education in order to become a Technician in the building Industry.
Arriving in South Africa, Mr Schutte was employed by Pluto Construction (Pty) Ltd for approximately nine years who were engaged from 1974 until 1976 with Concor Construction who were focused on and heavily involved in the mining construction industry.
When Pluto Construction finally broke away from Concor Construction to get standalone they followed in the footsteps of Concor Constructions – Industrial Structural Concrete work.
I became ensconced with this form of specialised structural concrete work and thus I was ready to head up my own entity and founded Concordia Projects (Pty) Ltd to leave my own part of the construction industry.
We undertook and still undertake all kinds of contracts that has to do with structural reinforced concrete. Our speciality lies in the construction of machine bases where precision is required.
Where building work forms part of a contract, we also manage and construct various buildings that house’ motor control centres, with attached office buildings etc.
When B-BBEE became compulsory it was around the time that Egoli Projects CC was founded.
Egoli Projects C.C. is a fully B-BBEE compliant company. We are a level 2 B-BBEE contributor
My partner in this business is Mr. M.P. Tutubala, whom I met in the early years of 1976. Petrus and I managed and built a trusted relationship through my mentoring of him with regards to the basics in the field of construction, and thus, a perfect mutual partnership was born.
Petrus retired at the end of August 2018 as he completes his 65th year in the work force and by then will have served the company for (35) thirty-five years.
Should the occasion arise Petrus has offered his service to Egoli Projects CC There is a newcomer on the block, who is making great strides, by the name of Mr. Mthethwa Thusi, who is presently busy completing his Construction Management Diploma.
Mr Thusi joined Egoli Projects in August 2005. He has shown good qualities and is more than competent in leading staff. He also has the ability to supervise the site and ensure the accurate execution of the construction projects from commencement to the final completion and hand-over.
He is currently being groomed to manage the day to day operations of the company to take over the company once Mr Schutte retires from the company.
